As an early career executive assistant, I'm watching the world of admin/ops work rapidly change--currently, for the better due to increased efficiency--with AI tool adoption. I want to avoid wasting time learning skills or gaining experience in a role that will become obsolete in the near to medium term future. Does 80K Hours have advice for strategically thinking about upskilling, specializing, and/or pivoting to alternate career paths? Do you foresee roles like personal assistants remaining relevant and impactful (if at high-impact organizations)?
