What?

Come join me and others at my place for a low-budget suffering abolitionist co-working summer. 

You are a self-motivated and self-structured worker/freelancer, want to study or research a relevant topic, use the time for self-development to improve the way you can contribute, or already have a project that you need to work on and need or like to have some community feeling while doing so? Then this program in private atmosphere near Munich, Germany might be for you. 

From 28 July - 3 September 2024, I offer my place (55m² with two rooms) to stay and (co-)work on suffering abolitionist projects.

Other free work-spaces such as libraries are available in the surrounding area.

In addition to co-working, we can go on EA Meetups in Munich, do outdoor activities, such as hiking, picnicking, and swimming in the beautiful surrounding area, or play some fun board games, etc. 

I may accept up to 3 visitors at once, so two people can sleep in each room. My senior cat will be roaming around as well. If additional space is in demand, feel free to book it for yourself and join us in our co-working sessions.

Note that my cat isn't vegan, but I hope the rest of us are ;)

I will not charge for the stay, but everyone will cover their own expenses. An additional small donation would be appreciated, but it’s not mandatory.

Why?

People may wonder why I offer this at my place. Well, I struggle with discipline without external, human interactive accountability, e.g. structuring my day without having appointments and commitments to others. Also, the youth welfare boarding school where I work closes during the summer holidays. 

I would prefer to organise actual co-working retreats and conferences, but that would demand too much preparation time in advance, which I don’t have this year.

How?

Please fill out the application form to indicate what you are planning to work on and what time period suits you best. Then, I will get in touch with you to make sure to have a good match and everyone gets out the most of this time.
