Christ, I'd give up pork for 4 years for that price. Any takers? 10% discount if it's in the next 24 hours; I'm pretty cash-strapped at the moment.

I was joking.

The point was meant to be that at that price, it seems cheaper to create selfish incentives to become vegetarian/vegan/everything-but-factory-farmed-products-ian. If that's the best deal we currently have via nudging people to be more moral, maybe philanthropists should be thinking more about funding market solutions such as subsidies for vegan products.
