EAG Boston will be held in June rather than in May. I had initially planned to have EAG Boston in May, but after talking with folks at MIT Media Lab and Harvard, I realize that this was a mistake. I hadn’t realized that May is so busy for students who have finals, projects, and thesis papers due. We selected Boston / Cambridge because of its location on the East Coast and because of its high number of colleges and high density of college students. We were hoping to attract a large number of students and I fear that holding the event in May would mean that there are many students nearby who are nonetheless unable to attend. We want to make it convenient for students to attend, so we are moving the date to June. I am currently in discussions with a number of university venues and I hope to finalize a date in the next two weeks. I apologize for the mistake.
